The power of digital technology planning in schools

Many principals in my schools ask what devices they should purchase for their schools. My first question is; "Do they have an ICT plan?" Purchasing technology in schools is ideally driven by an education purpose. Last week I was fortunate to work with two remote Kimberley schools on helping them create a digital technologies plan. By bringing the principal and teaching staff together to discuss their school's targets for digital technology, we started the process of creating a meaningful purpose for technology in their classrooms
