Apple has introduced a new feature that helps you better manage unknown callers on your iPhone.

The Screen Unknown Callers feature automatically filters calls from numbers that aren’t saved in your contacts. These callers will be prompted to provide additional information before your phone rings.

 

Alternatively, you can enable Silence Unknown Callers, which will automatically mute any calls from unknown numbers and send them straight to voicemail. These calls will still appear in your recent call list, so you won’t miss them entirely.

Setting up this feature is easier than you realise

1. Open settings

2. Scroll down to Apps and tap Phone

3. Scroll further and select Screen Unknown Callers

4. There will be the two options, ''Ask reason for calling (also known as screen unknown callers)'' or ''Silence ''
